Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Java Developer on behalf of our client in Denver, CO. This role is ideal for an experienced software professional with a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs to design, build, and maintain innovative software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
Build and enhance scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
Develop secure, reliable, and high-performing backend services using Spring technologies.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and Product Owners to deliver quality software solutions.
Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Support software deployments and contribute to CI/CD practices.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and development activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
Strong expertise in Java (Java 8, 11, and/or 17).
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with:
- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Spring Security
- Spring Data JPA
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Proven experience building and supporting Microservices architectures.
Experience with Hibernate and/or JPA.
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation practices.
Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools within distributed application environments.
