Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in modern backend development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java (21+), Spring Boot, REST API development, SQL, and cloud-native technologies on Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures for enterprise applications.
- Work extensively with SQL databases for data modeling, querying, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers in an Agile environment.
- Ensure code quality through coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, and best development practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize backend applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and secure application components.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
- Write technical documentation for application design, APIs, and deployment processes.
- Support application maintenance, upgrades, and production releases.
- Implement application security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Strong experience with Java 21+ and Core Java.
- Expertise in Spring Boot framework.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Strong SQL skills, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience implementing secure coding practices and application security.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
