Job Description:
As a Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain custom application solutions supporting contact center operations and business workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable architectures, and deliver high-quality web and voice-enabled applications. This role requires expertise in modern web technologies, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to work across diverse systems while ensuring seamless integration and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop technical solutions based on business requirements and discovery sessions
• Build and maintain custom applications including web portals, voice applications, and dashboards
• Develop solutions using Angular, JavaScript, and related web technologies
• Integrate systems across multiple environments and platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Participate in Agile development processes, providing estimates and delivering features on time
• Provide third-level support to internal teams for advanced technical issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide technical guidance and recommendations
• Work with external teams to adopt new tools, frameworks, and architectures
• Manage multiple projects with varying complexity and deadlines
• Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for team members and support staff

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3 5 years of hands-on experience in software development and web-based applications
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, and related technologies
• Knowledge of voice or contact center technologies and platforms
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VoIP, LAN/WAN architectures
• Experience working with XML-based technologies such as SCXML or VXML
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and analyze system performance
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Ability to write clear technical and implementation documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with SQL, VB.NET, and HTML/CSS (preferred)
• Familiarity with telecommunications and IP telephony systems (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
