I’m working with a leading global investment firm that’s hiring an Execution Systems Developer to join its Singapore technology team. You’ll build the distributed, fault-tolerant systems at the heart of the firm’s trading and execution platform, supporting large-scale transactions with millisecond-level latency.
This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges alongside experienced technologists, traders, portfolio managers, and risk professionals in a highly collaborative, technology-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build high-performance trading components within a distributed architecture.
- Develop millisecond-aware, fault-tolerant systems that support critical trading activity.
- Improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and reliability of existing platforms.
- Solve complex concurrency, performance, and systems-design challenges.
- Conduct design and code reviews while contributing to engineering best practices.
- Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, risk teams, and other key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Java development experience within financial or trading systems.
- Solid experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming, including lock-free algorithms.
- A strong understanding of distributed systems design and development.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, and performance-critical applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Exposure to low-latency programming techniques would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with C#, C++, React, or other programming languages would be beneficial.
- Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
