Job Description:
API Development Design build and maintain robust secure and highly scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
Server-Side Logic Translate application requirements and use cases into functional reusable and testable Java code.
Database Management Integrate with relational databases eg MySQL PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases eg MongoDB to ensure efficient data storage retrieval and optimization.
Performance Tuning Identify and resolve bottlenecks optimize application response times and scale backend architecture.
Testing Debugging Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests eg using JUnit and participate in rigorous code reviews.
Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with frontend developers DevOps engineers and product managers to deliver cohesive end-to-end applications.
Languages High proficiency in Java and modern Java versions.
Frameworks Extensive knowledge of the Spring Framework Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security and Hibernate.
Architecture Understanding of Microservices Monolithic architecture and design patterns.
Databases Strong SQL and NoSQL database proficiency ability to write and optimize queries.
Cloud DevOps Familiarity with containerization Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP.
Competency with tools in version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Bachelor's degree in computer science software engineering or a related field or equivalent hands on industry experience.
Problem Solving Exceptional analytical and debugging capabilities.
Strong communication skills to articulate technical complexities to nontechnical stakeholders.
