The ideal candidate has experience building RESTful APIs, working with relational databases, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Integrate third-party APIs and external systems. Design and implement database schemas and SQL queries. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Maintain application security and follow best development practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of professional Java development experience. Strong knowledge of Java 11. Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Experience building RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle). Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate. Experience using Git for version control. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Redis or other caching technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
