About the RoleWe are seeking a
Senior Developer / POD Lead
to provide strong hands‑on technical leadership within the
Pharmacy domain. This role owns
end‑to‑end POD delivery, engineering decisions, and technical quality. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with
Java 17, Spring Boot 3, microservices architecture, and production‑grade enterprise systems.
This is a
senior-only
position—best suited for engineers who excel in technical ownership, architectural thinking, and guiding a development POD, not just delivering tasks.

backend engineering;

Strong production‑grade microservices and architectural leadership background
Proven ability to mentor developers and lead delivery end‑to‑end
What You Will Do
Own technical delivery for a Pharmacy‑focused development POD
Lead design, development, integration, and evolution of Java/Spring Boot microservices
Architect scalable backend solutions supporting Pharmacy workflows
Work with messaging systems:
RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, IBM MQ
Integrate SQL databases such as
PostgreSQL
and
MySQL
Enforce automated testing standards (JUnit 5)
Deploy and troubleshoot containerized applications using
Docker
and
Kubernetes
Participate in Agile ceremonies;
ensure sprint commitments and technical quality
Lead production incident triage and root‑cause analysis
What You Bring
6+ years
hands‑on backend development (Java + Spring Boot) in enterprise settings
Strong ownership of microservices architecture and cloud‑native design
Proven experience with messaging queues & SQL databases
Hands‑on work with Docker, JUnit 5, CI/CD (GitLab preferred)
Demonstrated leadership in design reviews, code quality, and mentoring
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
GitLab CI/CD pipeline scripting
Exposure to
Java SWT
(where applicable)
Frontend experience with
React
or
Vue.Js
