The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with hands-on software development experience.
Working experience with agile and iterative software delivery
Familiarity with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc)
Proven experience in managing Cloud infrastructure (i.e. OpenShift, AWS, etc)
Proficiency with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)
Proficiency with event-driven design and architecture (i.e. Kafka, Spark, etc)
Experience with Microservices frameworks using Java.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, on-premise and public cloud (i.e. Jenkins, Teamcity, etc)
Experience with Service Oriented and Micro-Services architectures, including REST and hazel cast implementations.
Experience with database concepts and web-based technologies is a plus.
