Job Description:
As a Java Developer, you will design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java and related technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions while contributing throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/J2EE applications for enterprise environments.
- Develop and enhance business logic, APIs, frameworks, and distributed application components.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Build and support user interfaces using modern UI technologies and frameworks.
- Create and optimize integrations with relational databases and messaging systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and test-driven development activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and support performance tuning and scalability improvements.
- Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and testing processes.
- Support applications across Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Contribute to software architecture, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development on both client-side and server-side applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD), data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with application frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JSF, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of relational databases, distributed systems, and messaging technologies.
- Experience with UI technologies such as AngularJS, jQuery, HTML5, JavaFX, Swing, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development practices.
- Experience with build and automation tools including Maven, Gradle, Ant, Jenkins, JUnit, TeamCity, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, performance tuning, scalability, and Java garbage collection is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with API development; financial services or trading domain experience is a plus.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
