Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Java Developer looking to work on cutting-edge Agentic AI solutions? We're seeking a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with expertise in MCP (Model Context Protocol) and enterprise-scale API development to join a high-impact banking project in Amsterdam.
Work Authorization: Candidates must currently have valid work rights in both Netherlands (No sponsorship provided).
Key Requirements:
8+ years of IT experience
1+ year of hands-on experience implementing MCP in Agentic AI integrations will be a plus
Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem
Extensive experience designing and building enterprise APIs
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps)
Good knowledge of Azure DevOps
Experience working in enterprise environments with governance and integration best practices
What You'll Do:
Design and develop scalable Java services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
Implement MCP APIs for enterprise Agentic AI integrations
Build secure, high-performance APIs for a leading banking client
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions on Azure
