Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technology Consultant / JAVA Developer with MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Reactive Programming, REST API development, MongoDB, and Kafka, along with experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and application development.
• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement reactive programming solutions and optimize application performance.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Work with MongoDB and Oracle databases for data management and optimization.
• Integrate messaging solutions using Kafka/Confluent Kafka.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in architecture and design review discussions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful services and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (WebFlux/Reactor preferred).
• Experience with MongoDB and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Kafka or Confluent Kafka.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and SDLC processes.
• Experience in development, maintenance, and production support environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
• Design and architecture review experience.
• Performance tuning and optimization for Java applications and databases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in global delivery environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
