Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of four applications used in retail stores by salespeople and self‑service kiosks.
- Work with a team of 4–6 developers on 90% new J2EE web development and enhancement of existing applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end J2EE web solutions, including GUI, database, and integration with enterprise backend systems.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of end‑to‑end J2EE development experience.
- Strong backend development skills using Struts, Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services.
- Proficiency with jQuery, Ajax, and JSON.
- Experience with Oracle 10g, TOAD, and WebLogic application server.
- Knowledge of EJB stateless beans, JDBC, and SOAP web services.
- Experience with Eclipse IDE and basic Unix troubleshooting.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (master’s preferred).
- Valid U.S. Green Card and U.S. citizenship.
