Software Engineer
Location Address: Hybrid - 44 King St. 9th Floor, Toronto.
Contract Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension & conversion to FTE)
Number of Positions: 1
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- Solid complex problem‑solving skills.
- 10+ years of full stack development experience (Java, NodeJS, SQL, noSQL).
- 5+ years of cloud and containerized development experience.
- 5+ years Agile and SDLC experience.
- Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure).
- Docker containers.
- Kubernetes.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Active Directory / Entra ID integrations focusing on SSO.
- Experience with Application Security Tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz).
- AI Agentic experience (MCPs, Agents, Skills, RAG).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Someone who can work independently with stakeholders to implement solutions from design, constantly able to update design. Crucial: taking initiative, strong problem solver, strategic thinker, can identify solution; experience with cloud native protection tools. Ideal candidates will have used the tools themselves, understand how they work, and are strong independent developers with programming and automation expertise.
