We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic, global engineers team. The ideal candidate thrives in fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environments and is passionate about implementing robust automation solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, external vendors, and other QA teams across geographically dispersed teams and contribute to ongoing and new initiatives within an Agile framework, utilizing methodologies such as Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Calgary, Alberta is CAD $80k - CAD$85k/year & benefits.

Requirements
Strong at least 6 years Java development background
Familiarity with identity providers and external system integrations
Experience working with security‑sensitive applications, APIs, or enterprise platform
Knowledge of secure architecture and security best practices
Security tooling such as Snyk (and similar tools) Familiarity with OWASP principles
Experience with audits or compliance work such as SOC 2
Work involving integrations with external systems, which often implies authentication/authorization concerns
Experience handling user identity, session management, access control, token‑based auth, or federa
Preferred, but not required
Experience with Identity providers like Okta, Auth0, Ping, Azure AD, Keycloak
Token types such as JWT API security and service‑to‑service authentication
