POSITION OVERVIEW

The Comms, Media & Technology (CM&T) group is seeking a Level 9 Senior Java Developer to join a mission-critical, fast-paced project team. The purpose of this role is to build, scale, and optimize core backend components for an enterprise Order Management System (OMS). This is a high-impact initiative with a steep learning curve requiring immediate technical autonomy.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related cloud-native architectures.
• Support critical OMS functionalities including order orchestration, fulfillment, provisioning, returns, and total order lifecycle management.
• Design, build, and support high-throughput APIs and backend integrations with billing, payment, inventory, customer, and third-party enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to support agile delivery cycles.
• Utilize GenAI tools and automation accelerators to actively improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, documentation, and defect analysis.
• Follow rigorous development best practices including peer code reviews, CI/CD automated pipeline execution, and secure coding standards.

TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS

• Java & Spring Boot: 8+ years of deep engineering experience (P5 - Master level)
• Order Management Systems (OMS): 2+ years of direct industry experience (Order orchestration, fulfillment, lifecycle)
• API & Backend Integration: 5+ years (Connecting enterprise billing, inventory, and payments systems)

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

• GitHub CoPilot (or equivalent GenAI development accelerators)
• CI/CD pipeline automation tools
