Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Snowflake and a background in finance to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong Java full-stack development skills, proficiency in Snowflake, and experience in the finance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize Snowflake for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of Java applications and Snowflake data pipelines.
- Utilize best practices and industry standards in Java development and Snowflake implementation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java development and Snowflake architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining Java-based applications, utilizing full-stack development methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java full-stack development.
- Experience with Snowflake for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse development.
- Background in finance or related industries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
- Certification or training in Java development or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
