Overview :
We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer proficient in Spring Boot and SQL Server to join our dynamic team. As a back-end API developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integrating with internal and external systems, and ensuring high scalability and performance. This is a remote position that requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in the USA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain back-end APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work closely with UI teams to understand requirements and design RESTful APIs accordingly.
- Optimize APIs for scalability and performance, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Utilize Jira for project management and Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Implement Agile methodologies and maintain comprehensive documentation practices.
- Analyze complex business requirements and understand their impact on various systems.
- Participate in end-to-end testing of features and integration testing with dependent systems.
- Collaborate effectively with quality engineers and other team members to ensure product quality and reliability.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. :
- Expertise in Java programming language, Spring Boot framework, and SQL Server.
- Proficient in integrating with internal and external APIs.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
- Advanced proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and demonstrate ownership and initiative.
- Personable and able to engage in conversations beyond work-related topics.
