A services organization in Texas is seeking a Java Developer (SpringBoot) in Fort Worth to build and support a Java and Spring Boot-based microservice, along with related APIs, data workflows, and cloud-native deployment capabilities.

Setting:Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Responsibilities:- Build, enhance, and support a Java 21 / Spring Boot 3.4.5 microservice
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and related data integration workflows
- Build and maintain a Streamlit planner dashboard and support Python-based updates
- Work with Azure ADLS exports, data access, file I/O, and data quality troubleshooting
- Containerize and deploy applications on Kubernetes and support CI/CD, testing, observability, and security practices
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Software Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x/4.x, and Maven
- Experience with Python and Streamlit
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, OAuth2, Spring Security, and automated testing with JUnit 5 and Mockito
- Experience working with AI coding assistants and collaborating in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with mathematical optimization or solver tools such as FICO Xpress, Gurobi, CPLEX, or OR-Tools
- Exposure to Azure Blob Storage, ADLS, and azure-identity
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Micrometer Tracing, PIT mutation testing, Backstage, ArgoCD, or Runway
- Experience with WebFlux, reactive programming, or large-scale CSV and Excel parsing
- Experience with MkDocs or TechDocs
- Exposure to aviation, maintenance, or MRO domains
