Senior Java Developer in Toronto

Take on a pivotal role in Ontario's public sector as a Senior Java Developer. Contribute to essential projects like permit modernization while working onsite at our office in Toronto five days a week.
You will support two key projects under the Permissions Enterprise Platform (PEP), focusing on integrating with the Centralized Digital Permitting System (CDPS). Your expertise in Java and modern development practices will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance public services and comply with Ontario Government standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain high-quality Java applications
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration
• Implement microservices architectures for distributed systems
• Prepare deployment packages for multiple environments
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
• 10+ years full SDLC experience in Java
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, and modern frameworks
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud services and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with IBM ODM and Business Automation Workflow
• Capable of writing complex PL/SQL queries and scripts
