Job Title: TS/SCI Cleared Java Developer
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Java Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support mission-critical development efforts within a high-security federal environment. This role is ideal for candidates with 3+ years of experience who are looking to contribute to impactful, data-driven solutions supporting national geospatial initiatives.
The selected candidate will join a collaborative technical team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that enable advanced analysis and operational decision-making.
Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI clearance (required to start)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional Java development experience
- Experience developing enterprise-level applications
- Familiarity with object-oriented design principles
- Experience working in Linux-based environments
- Understanding of secure development practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications in a secure enterprise environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, analysts, and architects
- Develop RESTful services and backend components to support data-intensive workflows
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and integration issues
- Support deployment and sustainment of applications within classified environments
- Contribute to system documentation and technical design discussions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid environments
- Experience working within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency mission space or similar IC environments
- Prior experience supporting classified federal programs
