Position Purpose
To provide technical support, maintenance, and operational assistance for business-critical applications. The role focuses on ensuring high system availability, resolving incidents, supporting integrations, and assisting in application enhancements to improve business efficiency and performance.

Core Responsibilities
1. Application Support & Maintenance
Provide operational and technical support for business-critical applications
Ensure high availability and performance of applications
Monitor systems and perform routine maintenance
Handle incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions
Provide after-hours support when required
2. Integration & Middleware Support
Support Oracle Integration platforms (SOA/WLI/OSB)
Work with Apache Tomcat servers and application deployments
Handle Navis SN4, CAMCO Systems, and Oracle SQL Reporting
Assist in troubleshooting integration and middleware-related issues
3. Compliance & System Monitoring
Follow ITIL processes: Incident, Problem & Change Management
Maintain logs, scripts, and system health checks
Ensure compliance with IT policies and corporate standards
Maintain and update technical documentation
4. Deployment & Release Management
Assist in application deployments, upgrades, and patching
Support configuration across production, testing, and DR environments
Ensure smooth releases with minimal business disruption
Coordinate release activities under Lead guidance
5. Business Analysis & Solution Support
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements
Support solution design and feasibility analysis
Create process flow diagrams and integration documentation
Support configuration and system integration tasks
6. Incident & Change Management
Support UAT coordination and post-deployment activities
Ensure proper testing and sign-off before production release
Provide early production support and issue resolution
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and solutions
7. Stakeholder & Client Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
Maintain strong working relationships with Australian IT teams
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely support

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred)
Experience Required
Minimum 4+ years in application support / Java-based environments
Experience in Oracle SOA, Tomcat, SQL, or similar technologies
Exposure to deployment, patching, and upgrade activities
Experience with Linux/Windows server environments
Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Jira
