What you will do
- Expand and maintain backend code for distributed event processing systems using Java and Spring Boot ;
- Build and optimize data pipelines involving Kafka and ensure seamless integration with other platforms;
- Develop and optimize scalable RESTful APIs and build GraphQL APIs from scratch;
- Manage and enhance database interactions for both SQL and NoSQL systems ;
- Leverage AWS services , including SQS, to support the scalability and reliability of backend systems;
- Contribute to the Operational Lineage system and MDP Data Lineage collaboration to meet delivery goals.
Must haves
- 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot ;
- Experience working with Kafka as a data source, including building interfaces with other platforms;
- General knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases ;
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs with high scalability and performance;
- Hands-on experience building GraphQL APIs from scratch;
- Familiarity with AWS services , including SQS;
- Proven track record of contributing to 2-3 projects using this tech stack.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL .
