Senior Java Engineer – 6 Month Rolling Contract (Sydney)

Daily rate: $900 - $950 per day

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and building Java and Spring Boot microservices across high availability systems
• Developing React based front end components and integrating them with backend APIs
• Working within an AWS environment across compute, messaging, storage and deployment pipelines
• Improving reliability, performance and maintainability of existing services
• Collaborating with product, architecture and engineering teams on technical decisions and delivery outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Strong commercial experience with Java 17 or later and deep expertise with Spring Boot
• Hands on experience delivering applications in AWS including containerisation and CI/CD tooling
• Solid React experience with the ability to contribute to front end feature development
• Background building enterprise grade APIs, microservices and cloud native solutions
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and deliver in a fast moving environment
