Senior Java Engineer / Technical Lead – AI Application & System Modernization
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise core business systems and middle-platform modules, with a focus on insurance and finance-related business scenarios, ensuring system stability, security, and efficiency.
· Build backend and microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot / Spring Cloud, and related technologies; deliver API development, cross-system integration, performance optimization, and high-availability design.
· Lead or participate in legacy system modernization, including legacy code analysis, monolithic system decomposition, framework upgrades, protocol transformation, database restructuring, zero-downtime data migration, and grey release / dual-run strategies.
· Design database architecture and table structures; drive SQL optimization, index design, sharding, read-write separation, data consistency management, and continuous performance improvement.
· Apply AI coding tools, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks to support requirement breakdown, code generation, troubleshooting, refactoring, documentation, and private knowledge base development.
· Collaborate with product, QA, operations, and business teams to complete solution design, documentation, requirement clarification, on-site issue handling, and project delivery.
· Develop reusable components, technical solutions, and best practices for AI application implementation in insurance and finance scenarios, while considering data compliance, sensitive information protection, and private deployment requirements.
Requirements
· Candidates with strong practical project capability, solid Java backend development skills, and full lifecycle experience in large-scale enterprise systems, insurance, finance, financial systems, or middle-platform projects are preferred.
· Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST / JSON, SOAP / XML, API gateway, message queues, and common distributed architectures; able to independently design, develop, and troubleshoot core modules.
· Strong capability in enterprise system performance optimization, including high concurrency, high availability, distributed transactions, JVM tuning, and production issue diagnosis.
· Familiar with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and other mainstream relational databases; knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, and other NoSQL databases is preferred. Experience in SQL optimization, index design, table structure design, and data migration is required.
· Proficient in Git, Maven, and common development tools. Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, private deployment, and release management processes is preferred.
· Preferred:
Experience in legacy system modernization, such as upgrading Struts / Spring 2.x to Spring Boot, and maintaining or migrating JSP, EJB, WebLogic, WebSphere, or SSH (Struts + Spring + Hibernate) technology stacks.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools, understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, private knowledge bases, or AI Agent applications in enterprise business scenarios.
Experience with Vue 3, Element Plus, TypeScript, React 18, or other frontend technologies, with the ability to support frontend-backend integration and full-stack troubleshooting.
Experience in insurance core systems, finance middle-platform projects, AI agent implementation, module-level project coordination, or on-site project delivery.
