Java FSD/React one AMEX framework
We are looking for a strong Java candidate with experience in at least one AMEX framework (such as One App, One Data, etc.). These frameworks are used internally within AMEX for specific projects, so the requirement will primarily be met by candidates who have previously worked on AMEX projects or possess relevant AMEX-specific experience.
Experience: 8+ Years
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Design Patterns
- Experience with React.js for building modern, responsive user interfaces
- Familiarity with Vert.x and Reactive Programming frameworks
- Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Exposure to Cloud Technologies and cloud-native application development
- Strong knowledge of SCM, CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment tools
- Experience with code quality, security scanning, unit testing, and automation tools
- Good understanding of TDD, BDD, and development best practices
- Proficiency in modern programming languages with a focus on clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Experience in code reviews, refactoring, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
