Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development and good hands-on experience in frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will work on enterprise-grade applications in the banking/financial services domain, developing secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for banking applications.
- Implement business logic, validations, security, and transaction processing.
- Work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and related technologies.
- Design and optimize database queries and stored procedures.
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Implement secure and reliable integration with internal and external banking systems.
- Troubleshoot performance, production, and application issues.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and unit-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
2. Frontend Development
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
- Build reusable UI components and integrate them with backend REST APIs.
- Implement frontend validations, error handling, and state management.
- Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Optimize application performance and browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver effective banking application interfaces.
3. Banking Domain
- Develop solutions aligned with banking and financial-services business processes.
- Work with banking applications involving areas such as Payments, Accounts, Loans, Cards, Digital Banking, Customer Management, or Transactions.
- Understand banking workflows, transaction processing, security, and data integrity requirements.
- Ensure applications comply with enterprise security and development standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and domain teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
4. Microservices & Integration
- Design and develop REST APIs and microservices.
- Work with API gateways, service-to-service communication, and integration patterns.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS is preferred.
- Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling, and resilience mechanisms.
- Support cloud-based deployments and containerized applications where applicable.
5. DevOps & Quality
- Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and related development tools.
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Support application deployment, production releases, and issue resolution.
- Follow secure coding, code quality, and engineering best practices.

- Knowledge of Payments, Cards, Loans, Core Banking, Digital Banking, or Account Services is preferred.
- Understanding of security, authentication, authorization, audit, and data privacy requirements.
Experience & Qualification
- 10+ years of overall software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development.
- Demonstrated experience working on enterprise applications in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
