Title: Java Full Stack Lead Developer
Location: Boston, MA or Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite per week)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This hands-on role requires strong backend and frontend development expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience building cloud-native, event-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build and support microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
- Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and MQ.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Follow Agile development practices, code reviews, testing, and documentation standards.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Java 21+ preferred).
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
- Frontend development expertise with Angular 19+ and RxJS.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud-native environments.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
