Job Title: Sr. Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – once in a month)
Duration: 12-month contract
 
Job Description:
Java /Python Developer will help support the API Platform implementation. Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer responsible for building web applications using Python, Java, and many other cutting-edge technologies. We have shifted to adopting SAFe and encourage Contractors trained in SAFe, request that contractors have camera available and on majority of the time, and set expectations that they are part of Agile team on which we need them to embrace self-management and self-organization in terms of their iteration commitments, capacity planning, capacity allocation, etc. As long as they can come DC on need basis and attend the important SAFe ceremonies like PI onsite.
 
Must Have:

• Strong Knowledge on Application Development using Software Development Life Cycle SDLC using various methodologies like Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.
• Expertise in working with various J2EE technologies including Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SOAP and Rest based Web services, Concurrent programming.
• Experience in using Java coding in combination with AWS native services, Lambda, S3, Kinesis Stream.
• Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning and interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter.
• lambda, ECS, step functions, ec2, ECS Fargate, Api gateway, dynamo dB, docker, cloud formation, Angular, IONIC.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Desired knowledge in any API gateway solution.
