We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization to hire three (3) Java Full Stack Developers to support the development of advanced, enterprise-scale platforms used in cutting-edge research and data-driven initiatives.


This is a high-impact engineering role within a collaborative, forward-thinking team building modern applications that support complex data environments.


Location & Schedule:

  • Primarily Remote
  • Onsite once per month in Worcester, MA (may be short notice)
  • Please note that candidates must be willing to travel at their own expense if not local to Worcester


Role Overview:

This is a full stack position with a strong backend focus, working primarily within the Java ecosystem (Java 18). You will contribute to building scalable, enterprise-level applications with complex integrations and high data volume.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support data processing workflows (ETL)
  • Contribute to frontend development as needed (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular)
  • Collaborate across teams on architecture, development, testing, and deployment
  • Participate in code reviews and best practice enforcement
  • Support full application lifecycle management from design to deployment


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience (recent versions strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience in full stack development
  • Strong experience with RESTful API development
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working with scientific or data-heavy applications
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics or scientific platforms
  • Exposure to Gene Data Biologics or similar tools
