Java Functional Developer Key Requirements
Experience in designing and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud and containerized platforms such as AWS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional code, working closely with business analysts and quantitative teams
Strong experience in implementing business logic for financial workflows such as FIX protocols for trading and high-throughput payment processing
Experience working on system performance including multi-threading, real-time transaction processing, and latency optimization in distributed systems
Hands-on experience with integration and data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
Experience working in Agile environments with modern development practices including TDD (Test-Driven Development)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines using Maven and Jenkins
Exposure to AI-augmented coding assistants for development productivity
Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
