Role: Java Kotlin Developer
Location: Zaandam, Netherlands
Work mode: Hybrid Mode
Hiring Type: Freelance / B2B Contract (need residents of Netherlands)
Duration: Long Term
Requirement:
- Work with the team on reliable solutions and also take responsibility for the teams’ code in our DevOps way of working (including availability for 24/7 standby shifts).
- At least 7 year+ work experience as a software engineer
- Multiple years of Kotlin experience (2 years minimum, 4 years or more preferred)
- Experience with Java, Kotlin (must have), Oracle PL / SQL (preferred), CI/CD
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices in an Azure Cloud environment.
- A big plus if you also have experience with Kafka, Grafana, Postgres, and APIs
- A getting-things-done mentality
- An insatiable appetite for new knowledge
- It goes without saying that so-called ‘soft skills’ are just as important as their ‘hard’ cousins. We highly value:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training and Coaching experience (must have)
- Creative; identifies solutions and selects the best combination of practices by taking an innovative approach to problem solving

- Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken
Good to have:
Oracle PL/SQL preferred and a big plus if you also have experience with Kafka, Grafana, Postgres, and APIs
