We are seeking a talented Java / Kotlin Developer to join a dynamic team within one of our major clients. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin and enjoys building high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications while participating in all phases of the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Kotlin-based applications;
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects;
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code;
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality;
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, refine, and implement software requirements;
- Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve development practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin and their core concepts;
- Experience with popular JVM frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate;
- Knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL;
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices is a plus;
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus;
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
