Your responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to work on an existing application based on legacy Java technologies.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a legacy environment and, most importantly, genuinely willing to work with older technologies as part of the application's maintenance and evolution.
Required Profile
- 10+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 6
- Experience with JavaFX
- Experience with Swing
- Good understanding of Java desktop applications
- Experience maintaining, debugging and evolving legacy applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with existing codebases and complex technical environments
- Genuine willingness to work with legacy technologies, rather than exclusively focusing on modern Java environments such as Java 17/21, Spring Boot or microservices
