Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Boot.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with internal and external systems.

Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

Work with Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, and message processing.

Develop highly available and fault-tolerant microservices for cloud environments.

Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Work with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Secret Manager.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment.

Monitor application performance, logs, and production issues using cloud monitoring and logging tools.

Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Follow coding standards, security best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Core Java

Strong experience with Spring Boot

Excellent experience in Microservices Architecture

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

Good experience with GCP / Google Cloud Platform

Strong experience developing REST APIs

Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Experience with Git

Good understanding of CI/CD concepts

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
