Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Developer / Java Microservices Developer to join a fast-paced engineering team focused on enhancing and modernizing critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor with deep expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
The candidate should be comfortable understanding complex business domains, working with legacy monolithic applications, and delivering high-quality solutions while supporting application modernization initiatives.
Required
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ in day-to-day development and problem-solving.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend service development.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.
- Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and existing application architectures.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
