Business Group: COAT – Contact Centre Technology – managing the bank’s voice applications and leading the build‑out of a new voice service from the ground up.
Project: MuleSoft is scheduled for decommissioning by June 2026. A transition to a replacement platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Atlas is required to host new API services for the IVR channel. The role will implement new API services using Kubernetes on GCP.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices and APIs in Java/Spring Boot.
- Implement container orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE) on GCP.
- Work within COAT to transition from MuleSoft to GCP Atlas.
Candidate Requirements (Must Have)
- 10 years of hands‑on experience with Java / Spring Boot, GitHub.
- 3–5 years experience with GCP using Kubernetes / GKE.
- 3–5 years hands‑on design and development of APIs and microservices using Java.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- API testing tools (Postman).
- Experience with WebSphere and Tomcat.
- SQL experience.
Interview Process
- Round 1 – Hiring managers: 30 minutes via MS Teams. 10 minutes for introduction, role overview, and expectations; the remainder covers experience, knowledge‑based questions, and interpersonal assessment.
