We have an immediate opening for a Java Microservices Developer for a long-term hybrid opportunity.

Position: Java Microservices Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite, typically Tuesday & Wednesday)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Start Date: Immediate

Job Overview
The selected candidate will be part of an Enterprise Engineering team responsible for building and enhancing platforms and services that enable suppliers and merchandising partners to onboard, manage, and maintain products across multiple sales channels. The team focuses on delivering high-performance, reliable, and intuitive systems that support the entire product lifecycle while providing insights and analytics to business partners.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Java 8+

Spring Boot
Building high-performance Microservices
Asynchronous processing using Java Futures
Kafka
Kotlin

Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
DevOps practices and CI/CD
Reactive Programming
Mockito
Cucumber
Playwright

Preferred Skills
Experience with reactive technologies such as Coroutines and Project Reactor
Hands-on experience building Kafka-based applications
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Couchbase
Experience deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure
