Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer with 10+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud, Kubernetes, and Messaging platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java-based Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Build RESTful APIs, event-driven applications, and asynchronous processing solutions.
- Develop cloud-native applications and deploy them on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Implement API Gateway, service registry, configuration management, circuit breakers, and resilience patterns.
- Develop data access layers using JPA/Hibernate.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Implement messaging and event-driven integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, Agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java 8/11/17.
- Expert-level experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and resilience patterns, including:
- Circuit Breaker
- API Gateway
- Caching
- Service-to-Service Communication
- Fault Tolerance
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Istio or Linkerd service mesh.
- Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Run.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API security.
- Understanding of Serverless Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
