Project Overview The tool will provide real-time portfolio analysis, transition planning, tax impact estimation, and customization based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria and client preferences.
It will integrate seamlessly with the client's internal systems and Salesforce, offering an intuitive user interface, report generation, and onboarding features.
Position Overview As a Java / Mulesoft Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in building the backend services for portfolio modeling, strategy comparison, and data processing.
You will develop and maintain APIs that connect multiple systems and databases, support complex business logic, and ensure secure and reliable cloud‐hosted solutions.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Mulesoft Integrate backend services with internal systems Implement rules‐based logic for portfolio transition analysis and tax impact evaluation Handle data ingestion processes, including lot‐level holdings and cost basis information Develop authentication and authorization mechanisms tied to Rep ID / Salesforce ID Manage report storage and retrieval systems with advanced search capabilities Contribute to cloud architecture design using AWS or Azure, focusing on Saa S solutions Ensure security, disaster recovery, and SLA compliance in the cloud environment Document APIs, backend architecture, and development processes Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 3+ years of backend development experience using Java (preferably Spring Boot) Experience with Mulesoft or similar integration platforms Strong understanding of API development and RESTful services Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks Familiarity with data ingestion and processing of financial data (holdings, cost basis, etc.) Experience working with Salesforce integrations Understanding of Saa S architecture and multi‐tenant cloud solutions Proficient in version control systems such as Git Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work collaboratively #J- *-Ljbffr
