Required Technical Skills:

*Strong hands on experience in Java backend development using Core Java, Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot for enterprise applications
*Strong Tech lead experience, experience leading POD teams across locations in multiple time zones including offshore teams.
*Proven experience mentoring team members, troubleshooting and resolving issues faced by team.
*Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
*Proven experience building SPA applications using Angular or React JS
*Proven experience handling front end applications using HTML, jQuery, CSS.
*Hands on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch
*Experience with SQL DBs like DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Aurora DB
*Experience with No SQL database like Mongo DB, Document DB
*Experience with Hibernate, JPA for ORM framework and communication with Database
*Experience with AI agents using Windsurf, Co-pilot AI for faster development lifecycle.

Conceptual & Enterprise Skills:

Strong understanding of backend system design, microservices architecture, scalability, and high availability patterns.
Ability to translate business requirements into well designed, secure, and scalable backend APIs and services.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
Strong problem solving skills and ability to debug production issues and perform RCA
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Architects)
Experience understanding custom AI Agents, Automating using AI Agents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience deploying Java Spring Boot backend and Javascript based front end applications in production AWS environments
Exposure to Docker / containerization and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline)
Experience with messaging/event driven systems (SNS, SQS, Kafka preferred)
Familiarity with security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, and IAM best practices
Experience with using Windsurf for automating recurring processes building MCPs in windsurf/cursor/Claud Code IDE.
