Role: Java Lead Engineer
Location: 1111 Polaris Parkway, Ohio (Onsite 5 days/week)
Duration: 3 Months Contract (Right to Hire)

Position Overview We are seeking a 603-level Java Lead Engineer as part of the CCB Ramp/Surge initiative . This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, team guidance, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations
- Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach
- Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications
- Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery
- Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance
Required Skills & Experience - 9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies
- Prior tech lead / team lead experience managing engineers
- Strong understanding of: CI/CD pipelines Automation and DevOps practices Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Application resiliency & security
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Domain exposure to Financial Services / Banking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications - Strong understanding of OOP principles & design patterns
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable Java code
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: EC2 S3 Lambda Cloud-native application development experience
Work Model Onsite 5 days/week (No remote flexibility)
