Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will fall to you:
Program, develop and maintain application components in a Java environment.
Perform unit tests to ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of developments.
Produce and maintain the Java source code as well as the associated technical documentation, in particular the JavaDoc of the developed components.
Write relevant documents, such as support guides, maintenance manuals, user manuals or recovery plans.
Provide technical support to internal resources and contribute to their training.
Participate in a variety of activities related to Java development, including code review, single sign-on, load testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of solutions.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor\'s degree in the field of information technology, including computer science, software engineering or computer engineering, or any other equivalent training in a related field.
Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Java development within the last ten (10) years.
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a programmer in a web development environment on Java EE 5 or newer platforms.
Have at least two (2) years of experience with one of the following frameworks or technologies: JSF, EJB3, JPA or Hibernate.
Have participated in at least one Agile information system development project, an asset.
Have completed a mandate of at least six (6) months within a government or paragovernmental organization in Quebec, an asset.
