Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using standard Java development practices.
- Participate in system analysis, database design, and RESTful API integration to build robust web applications.
- Diagnose, debug, and fix software defects; perform routine system upgrades and application enhancements.
- Work with QA teams to execute unit and integration testing; actively participate in code reviews and agile team discussions.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, system specifications, and operational guides for developed applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 years or above of hands-on experience in Java web application development (fresh graduates with strong project portfolios are welcome to apply for Junior roles).
- Core Language: Strong fundamentals in Java (Java 8 or higher) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with modern Java frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, or J2EE.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards; exposure to frameworks like Angular/React is a plus.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and SQL query writing.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
