We are seeking a skilled Java/Python/Database Developer with 5-7 years of experience to join our Securities Reference Data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining reference data applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with global teams to ensure seamless data sourcing, loading, and distribution.

Responsibilities / Responsabilités
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications within the SRD platforms, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to SDLC methodologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and global teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver end-to-end implementations.
- Work in a Linux environment, leveraging SQL and RDBMS fundamentals to optimize data management processes.
- Incorporate JSON, XML schemas, and other data formats into application workflows, and utilize AI coding tools to improve productivity.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of reference data while demonstrating ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
Requirements / Exigences
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages with a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.
- Strong experience with RDBMS, SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and database fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and AI coding tools such as Github Copilot.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML schemas, and data integration techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive sense of ownership.
- (Optional) Experience with Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Microservices, MongoDB, scripting (Shell, Python), scheduling tools (Autosys, Cron, Airflow), and messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ).

- Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and REST API development to build scalable and maintainable APIs.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and deployment strategies to support modular system design.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for adaptable data storage solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting with Shell scripts and Python to automate tasks and workflows.
