Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Innovation: Design and develop Single Page Applications (SPA) and Rich Internet Applications using React, HTML5, CSS3, and object-oriented JavaScript.
- Back-End Engineering: Build and maintain robust back-end systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate within Linux/Unix environments.
- Architecture & CI/CD: Draft and review architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications while leveraging modern build systems (Webpack) and CI/CD deployment workflows.
- Data & Messaging: Work with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase) and implement low-latency messaging middleware.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor other software developers on the team, championing clean code structures, design patterns, and Agile/Scrum best practices.
- Risk & Compliance: Maintain a strong awareness of industry compliance, risk control processes, and the regulatory landscape inherent to the financial sector.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working within financial markets, banking, or wealth management.
- Front-End Expertise: Advanced mastery of JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and TypeScript, along with responsive web design practices.
- Back-End Expertise: Solid hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BE/B.Tech), or equivalent (MCA).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Proficient with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with cross-functional fields (Product, UX, DevOps, or Business Analytics).
- A self‑motivated, highly organized team player who thrives in an Agile environment and loves to leave code better than they found it.
