We are hiring a skilled Java Scala Developer with 5-10 years of experience in building enterprise-grade backend systems. The role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and distributed applications in a modern microservices-based architecture.
Role Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for building resilient backend services using Java and Scala, working on event-driven architectures, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Scala
- Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka or similar platforms
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code aligned with best practices
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams for end-to-end delivery
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work on SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (8/11/17+)
- Hands-on experience with Scala
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and concurrency
- Experience with SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
- Hands-on with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to AWS/ Azure/ GCP
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
