Description
Software Engineer is a hands‑on developer with considerable experience in application‑layer development and user interface implementation for both web and mobile web applications.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationships, collaborative and organizational skills
- 5+ years of experience translating functional product requirements into application-layer code, and visual designs into functional user interfaces within traditional web applications
- Experience with large scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience
- Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Aspects, etc.), JPA, JSF, JUnit, Web Services (SOAP & REST), JSON/XML, JBoss, Log4j, Eclipse STS, SQL, Oracle DB Server
- Experience working with API development (REST & SOAP), Design Patterns, Distributed Transactions
- Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
- Act as a key contributor in the establishment and application of policies and standards related to cloud technology.
- Performance optimization, Architecture & Design, Code review practices.
- Experience in leading a team and project is a plus
