Senior Backend Software Engineer – Digital Assets & Blockchain
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join an innovative technology team working on the development of a next-generation Digital Assets Platform . This platform enables emerging financial use cases such as stablecoin payments , tokenized deposits , and tokenized investment products .
The successful candidate will combine strong backend development expertise with hands-on experience in blockchain technologies and distributed ledger integrations.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will:
- Analyse functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop robust backend software applications.
- Define application structures and technical components based on solution architecture.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software quality.
- Implement enhancements and modifications to existing applications.
- Maintain and update technical and design documentation.
- Participate in self-reviews and peer code reviews.
- Investigate, resolve, and follow up on incidents and defects.
- Perform technical and integration testing with interfacing systems.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of a Digital Assets Platform supporting blockchain-based financial products.
- Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and application architecture.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Experience with blockchain technologies and distributed ledger ecosystems.

- Understanding of on-chain and off-chain integrations
- Experience with custody solutions and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems, programmable money, and tokenized financial products
