Java Software Engineer

Are you passionate about building scalable cloud-native applications using modern Java technologies?
We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing high-volume backend services that power mission-critical digital products.
Working within an Agile environment, you'll design and build resilient microservices, contribute to architectural decisions, improve system reliability and help deliver software that supports millions of customer interactions.
What you'll be doing

• Building scalable Java-based backend services
• Designing and maintaining REST APIs
• Working with Kubernetes and AWS cloud technologies
• Developing automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting production systems and improving service reliability
• Participating in architecture discussions and technical design
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and Platform teams
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering practices

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial experience with Java (17+)
• Spring Boot or DropWizard
• REST API development
• Kubernetes
• AWS
• CI/CD pipelines
• Automated testing
• Microservices architecture
• Production support and monitoring
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems

Experience with OpenAPI, GraphQL, observability tooling (Grafana, OpenTelemetry), deployment automation and API lifecycle management would be highly advantageous.
