We are looking for a skilled Lead Java Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience team, committed to improving developer productivity and streamlining workflows.
This role involves designing backend solutions, integrating systems, and creating tools that enhance the engineering team's efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design backend APIs and integrations to enhance workflows and platform capabilities
- Collaborate with teams and shared services to address developer challenges
- Integrate enterprise systems like Kafka, ServiceNow, and Snowflake
- Analyze workflows using metrics to identify pain points and suggest improvements
- Offer innovative ideas and solutions as part of a dynamic team environment
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to tackle technical issues and refine processes
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or similar roles
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in backend development using Java and Kotlin
- Expertise in creating RESTful APIs and middleware connections
- Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake, and ServiceNow or equivalent systems
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving environments with mínimal supervision
- Competency in team collaboration and conveying technical information effectively
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in frontend technologies like ReactJS and TypeScript
- Experience with developer tooling platforms or internal services
- Skills in observability and monitoring tools like Datadog or Prometheus
